Sofia Roller, Au.D. is a Maryland native who grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland. Dr. Rollerís passion for hearing healthcare stems from her personal experience; she was born with genetic single-sided deafness and grew up with family members who are also deaf and hard-of-hearing. She received her undergraduate degree from James Madison University where she continued on to achieve her clinical doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.). She is currently a fellow member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology and the president of the Maryland Academy of Audiology. She has served as the MAA convention chair (2018-2019) and MAA Member-at-Large. Dr. Roller is passionate about early intervention for congenital hearing loss, improving quality of life for all ages through advanced hearing technology, and advocacy/accommodation for those with hearing loss. When not at work, she is probably playing sports, doing her nails, browsing for indoor plants, trying a new restaurant or recipe, or dreaming about the beach!

Dr. Courtney received her Bachelors of Science (B.S.) degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from Towson University in 2010; where she went on to earn her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) degree in 2014. Dr. Courtney joined our team in 2018, taking over our Glen Burnie location following Dr. Rouleauís retirement. Prior to working at Audiology Associates, Inc., Dr. Courtney worked for a commercial practice in Rockville, as well as an ENT practice located in Frederick and Hagerstown. Her clinical interests include audiologic evaluations across the lifespan, taking a special interest in pediatric patients, hearing aid fittings, tinnitus management, and balance disorder evaluations and treatment. When not at work, you will find Dr. Courtney spending time with her family (husband and 2 children, a boy and a girl), exploring the downtown Frederick area where they live, or learning new decorating techniques for baked goods. Dr. Courtney is currently a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA) and Maryland Academy of Audiology (MAA) as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She recently was voted to be member-at-large for the Maryland Academy of Audiology.

Corinne Richards, Au.D. received her undergraduate degree in 2003 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she majored in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Shortly after graduation she attended Central Michigan University (CMU) where she received her doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.). Her clinical externship was done in Detroit, MI at the Michigan Ear Institute from 2006-2007. In May 2007 she graduated from CMU with honors and accepted a position with a non-profit clinic in Chicago, IL specializing in pediatrics and educational audiology. In 2011 she moved to Marylandís Eastern Shore to join the Audiology Associates Inc. team. Currently she specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss for hearing aid and cochlear implant candidates. Throughout her career as an audiologist, Dr. Richards has taken a special interest in humanitarian audiology and has spent time in Ghana, West Africa fitting hearing aids to those in need. Dr. Richards and her partner together have four children and enjoy family trips, swimming, and playing board games together. In her spare time she enjoys crafting and painting, working on fixing up her 100+year old home, and playing tabletop board games as well as Dungeons and Dragons.

Aimee Kaplan, Au.D. received her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Towson University in 2004. She continued her education at Towson University, receiving her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) degree in 2008. Dr. Kaplan has worked in the Audiology Associates, Inc.ís Timonium office since the office opened in 2009. Prior to working at Audiology Associates, Inc., Dr. Kaplan worked for a large ENT practice located in Towson. Her clinical interests include audiological evaluations for adult and pediatric patients, hearing aid fittings, tinnitus management, and balance disorder evaluations and treatment. In her free time, Dr. Kaplan enjoys spending time with her family (husband and 2 children), reading, and being involved in the Hereford Zone community, where she resides. Dr. Kaplan is currently a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA) and Maryland Academy of Audiology (MAA). She currently holds the position of MAA secretary, and was MAA member-at-large from 2016-2019.

Dr. Linn earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania and a Masterís degree in Audiology from the University of Northern Iowa. She has a certificate of clinical competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), where she served as Director of Private Practice and Industry for over three years. While at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Dr. Linn was asked by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to participate in the evaluation of the Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) scale used for hearing protection. In addition, she was asked by the consulting board to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC ) in complying with the mandate for compatibility between cell phones and hearing aids. Dr. Linn is an ex officio on a number of practice documents, including Cochlear Implants, Auditory Integration Training and The Audiologist Role in Occupational Hearing Conservation and Hearing Loss Prevention Programs. Finally, Dr. Linn has been featured in newspaper articles and interviewed by radio and television stations.

Leigh McCarthy, Au.D.has been a practicing audiologist since 2001. Katelyn "Katie" Leitner, AuD. is a private practice audiologist who has been practicing for more than 5 years, relishing the opportunity to develop trusting and loyal relationships with her patients and their families. She is a Central New York state transplant, who attended the University at Buffalo and obtained her clinical doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Leitner is an off-campus supervisor for Towson University graduate audiology students. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She currently holds a Member-at-Large position with the MAA Board. Outside of the office, she and her husband can be found hiking and collecting cancellation stamps in their U.S. National Parks passports.

Mikayla Abrams, Au.D. received her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree at the University of Maryland College Park. Dr. Abrams was initially drawn to audiology by her sibling who was born with a severe hearing loss. Her passion for the field has grown to include assisting patients of all ages in minimizing the impact of hearing loss and balance disorders on their quality of life. Dr. Abrams has served as a Member-at-Large for the MAA board since 2019. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. In her spare time, Dr. Abrams enjoys traveling, staying active outdoors, and spending time with family.

Melissa Segev, AuD. is the co-owner of Audiology Associates Inc. and is a Maryland native who grew up in Baltimore. She received her undergraduate degree from Towson University and her clinical doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from the University of Pittsburgh. Her academic awards include the University of Pittsburgh School of Health and Rehabilitation Emeritus Award, Ann Pascasio Award, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology Student Scholarship. She has been on the board of the Maryland Academy of Audiology since 2008 serving as president, convention chair, and currently is a member at large. Dr. Segev is a fellow member of the American Academy of Audiology and the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. She has given talks at national conventions on hearing loss and the best ways to manage patient care. Dr. Segev specializes in the programming and fitting of hearing aids, as well as balance disorders. When not at work, Dr. Segev can be found with her two young sons, husband, and goldendoodles in the Annapolis area.

Jennifer Kincaid, Au.D. earned her Bachelor of Sciences degree and Doctorate of Philosophy degree in Audiology from James Madison University. While at James Madison University, she completed internships with the University of Virginia Medical Center, the Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center, and a private otolaryngology clinic in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Her doctoral dissertation focused on research into cochlear dead regions and frequency compression hearing aid technology. Dr. Kincaid practiced audiology at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and Hearing HealthCare, Inc. in Rockville, Maryland, prior to joining Audiology Associates, Inc. in 2016. She joined the Maryland Academy of Audiology Board of Directors as a Member at Large in 2016 and was re-elected to the position in 2019. Dr. Kincaid enjoys working with patients of all ages and prides herself on a compassionate, patient-first approach to hearing care while educating her patients on their hearing system. In her free time, she enjoys time with her husband and son, Disney, hiking, NFL football, and reading.

Alicia D.D. Spoor, Au.D. earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from Gallaudet University in Washington, DC. After graduation, Alicia joined the hearing aid and cochlear implant teams at Mayo Clinic before moving back to Maryland and opening her own private practice, Designer Audiology, LLC. Dr. Spoor is a Past-President of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA) and MAA. In her free time, she likes to travel with her partner, play soccer, and volunteer at Canine Humane Network.
